Birthday Parties...

Birthday parties in the last few years at our house have really grown.   They not only consist of family but many friends.  We have birthday parties that have some times 75 people in attendance.   The boys love it that way.   Not for the gifts because they don't expect them at all it is because these people that come are people that MEAN something to us as a family!! They are family and really good family friends to us!!  We are not sure what we would do with out them in our lives.   They mean so much to us that we want to spend a special time with them.   We have a grand old time. 

Everyone who comes to a get together at our house knows not to bring anything but themselves.   Randy and I feel if we invite someone for dinner and a get together they should not bring something at all.   We usually make a maindish (fish or ribs on the smoker) some form of potoates, breaad, a veggie, and a few salads oh and pickles of many sorts.  Then there is the drink....lemonade, wine, beer and whatever else is handy!!  Then of course there is the desert!!  Oh yeah the kids get to pick their own cake and I make it from scratch (out of the box)I mean I make it it is not from the store bakery.  LOL!!

So here is to our family and friends you are welcome any time at our home and we are so happy you are able to make it to the boys birthday parties!!!  Thank you for that!!!!
